Here it's sold as "Georgia Blue Eyes". Cute little plant.
I didn't know it's poisonous. I will not move mine to where I wanted now. No need for the hens to give it a try. Thanks for the heads up.
A lot of tools didn't get put away last time I was out there. Still kind of dark out. I hope you can get the idea from these pictures.
Weeders and hoes tend to want to shift. They get a bungee cord.
Shovels and things with a loop handle are hung like this. That 1x4 is usually holding 5-6...
I screwed scrap pieces of 2x4's on both sides of the wall studs. This gave me a 1.5" slot to slide tool handles into. The shovel parts of the shovels are toward the ceiling....if that makes sense.
Slightly angling them would help prevent them getting knocked down or a bungee cord to keep them...
Pressure canning is specifically for low acid foods. Water bath canning is for high acid foods like pickles and tomatoes.

Shredded zucchini can be frozen in 2 cup batches for use in zucchini brownies or bread. I do that with ones that get big.
I also cut in half/remove seeds and stuff with Spanish rice then bake and too with cheese. It's pretty good that way too.
I put regular white vinegar on the stings and took 2 benadryl. The vinegar really does take the burn out of the sting.
Since I am not allergic but wanted to be cautious with so many stings I took the benadryl.
Getting a facial let alone nose sting when small omg! That had to be awful.
Getting...
Luckily I am not allergic to them. It did hurt like the dickens though.
I am still seeing some flying around.
They are way more aggressive than yellow jackets by the way.
The easiest way to tell the difference when they are airborne is the rear legs. The European Paper Wasps dangle the rear...
I haven't posted here in a while. :hmm
The garden is doing mostly well. The tomatoes are not as happy as I had hoped but are setting fruit.
I got 3 zucchini and a yellow squash this morning off my 2 plants. I am pretty happy about that.
The cantaloupe has filled and over filled its 6x10 section...
TOTALLY!
White cloud mountain minnows are what I have. My tiny pond has zero way to ever release into any body of water so no risk of foreign species introduction.
The other option are mosquito tabs.
That is absolutely beautiful! :D
Today I filled the yard waste bin (a 96 gallon track can) with ladybells and weeds from the garden. Dear Lord where did all that thistle come from?
I still could fill it twice more with those very prolific ladybells.
I need to trim some shrubs and trees...
Thanks! It has been a shoveling adventure.
Since it is a tiny pond I got tiny white cloud mountain minnows for it.
They will winter inside in an aquarium. Safety first. :p
I have been working on a pond project this week.
This was bare ground (and weeds). It isn't quite done yet but getting there. I need to build my filter system and top with rocks to hide the drip system.
I will be building a deck that this will be incorporated into next year. I have a giant rose...
