Ignore the odd one out... These are pretty good. The darker ones are the color you are aiming for. (But not the one that isn't a Spitz) Their largest fault is that their spangles are more lacing than spangles. And do remember, the shape of the bird is more important than the color.

Here is a light-ish Chamois Spitz. Maybe 2 or so months old. Dark Chamois Spitz, but female with a small crest. Another Chamois female with a small crest. Lighter female Chamois with a fluffier crest. Here is a group shot of some Spitz of various shades of Chamois with one male golden...

I like the tail set on the male.. but I would like clearer spangles.. not so many spangles on the breast.. a few of the saddle feathers look a bit muddy? And those wings would be better if held up higher... In general though... a good male. I like the female more than the male...

Do you separate and feed him only once a day? Or twice? If you don't have the time to separate him out 3 times a day to feed him... I would put him into his own cage fir a week, so he has full constant access to feed, without being bullied. If the pullets are good to him, and it is only the...
