Ngl, if I ever find the person that managed to kill 26 chicks by sheer stupidity, I will not being seeing the good in them.
But I tend to go with hanlon's razor.
This.
I don't think they had any idea of what it would do. I think "ew chickens are dirty, better safe than sorry" happened.
And I got 26 dead chicks out of 40 and 2 more died with in a few days. I tried to save them, but they couldn't see out of one or both eyes. It was pretty heart breaking...
I have ordered chicks 3 times. I had one box where 2/3 where DOA.... which was pretty rough.
Otherwise every one was fine.
I did have one chick that managed to drown itself in the water feeder with in 5 minutes of me putting it into the brooder... But that was my fault, and not the hatchery.
I...
Eh, I'm just going to start calling the entire flock "my girls". Given how much people don't care to listen, they probably won't know what I'm talking about.
Either I'm a mom or a madame. Who can tell?
... I can tell whom has had experience with chickens by the reaction to the phrase "I have about 200 chickens"
... Either "Oh? That's nice"
.... Or some version of "how are you not dead?"
I would like to point out that this is still true when dealing with some one whom swears they understand...
Texas is going through menopause again...
Also, apparently I have nightshade that grows in my front yard. As soon as the freezes hit, my birds decided to eat it. I lost 6 birds in the last month. It's been crazy around here.
Oh, that's not what I was debating. More the right of everyone not the people getting married to be unhappy with the couple's choices.
My wedding was a courthouse one (it was the best option I had at the time)... And the amount of people unhappy with my choice was... Everyone.
Which seems to...
Well, if you get married, and don't have a wedding everyone gets pissed. If you have a wedding, everyone has a complaint.
New plan.... Just send everyone an invite to your divorce proceedings. If they never happen, you never have to worry about it. If they do happen, all the invitees will feel...
