Stinging nettle is really good! The barbs need to be rubbed off or it needs to be dried or cooked for people to eat it or else yes it burns.

I do, you have to rub it in a tea towel to get the stinging bits off if you want to eat it raw or many more people dry it for tea, seasonings and for the health benefits. I put it in soup a lot:) it is really good for you
