Yes I agree I got two AC Chicks feb 1 and they turned out to be cockerels both. 14 weeks just started singing and trying to mate. They are always around each other sometimes they do fight it out 😆
I have 4 chicks out with their mama hen and she will challenge any rooster lol so nobody messes with her but when it gets dark she knows to go to her house and I lock her up.
I let my chicks out at 3 weeks with the hen. The other hens will probably peck the chick once or twice and the chick will know to run to its mom. You can tell male chicks gender around 6-8 weeks.
You will need to trim her beak every 2-4 weeks so her beak doesn't get too long. And tube feed if it gets worse when she grows and you probably don't wanna use it for breeding in the future.
