I wasn’t sure if you needed to be one or not but when we originally got the goose we looked for one near by and unfortunately there isn’t one close that could take my goose. I’ll look into getting a permit though see if I’m aloud.

That super exciting! We just hatched chicks and our hatching more geese right now! They are due in a few weeks so fingers crossed:)

I’d wait for now. In a few more hours if it still hasn’t made any progress then I would help it. Most of the time they cry out and get really loud if they need any help.

I looked up more stuff and found someone’s old post that looked exactly like what happed to mine. We realized it really was insides and tried gently putting it back in but it wasn’t working at all. In the end we had to end up culling the poor guy.

I have an underdeveloped chick that hatched that has half of its organs not in its body yet it’s still alive. What should I do? At first I thought it was something different but I’m not sure what to do now after taking it out of the incubator.

My goose now has attachment issues.

It does not have a roof cause they just go in the coop when it rains. We’ve yet to fully figure out where we want to move it permanently so that’s something we’ll take into consideration!!

That’s exactly what I’m probably going to do!! The smallest issue with it is he has attachment issues he is going to have to get over but that shouldn’t be too big a deal.

I think we are going to end up doing something similar to that idea but keeping him inside in a small area with pee pads on the floor. It just means he’s going to have to get over his attachment issues.😂(I’m his “therapy person”)

I love that idea but we live on ten acres with woods that coyotes live in and we see all them all the time.
