Yes, that are what you call Polish. We chose them because we wanted birds for pets, not really for eggs. There's just one person who actually eats eggs in our household, so we don't need them just for that. And of course they are beautiful, we like pretty things :)

My eggs (paduan) hopefully are on their way to me, the coop is a work in progress and the incubator is set and read. Have had backyard mixes in the past, about 15 years ago, and really miss having chickens in my garden. Have already learned a lot in here, and lokk forward to learn more.
