Ooh!
Any care tips? I looked it up and I believe I know the species but any advice is welcome, still super new to succulents :)
It was hard to choose, there was a whole tray in this sweet little shop, so many varieties! But this was the first that stood out to me, so had to take her home.
As long as they're not injured, they'll be fine.
This is part of life, and part of owning poultry. Even if the hatch wasn't staggered, which shouldn't have been allowed to happen due to problems like this, rejection at hatch is always a possibility.
It's important to remember that mum isn't...
How is her breathing? Does she seem in pain? What medication is she on and how long for? How old is she?
The coughing blood makes me think internal injury and bleeding, perhaps as simple as eating something sharp. But the pooping blood at the same time is a bit more startling. Id suggest a...
In the entire store only one plant was u healthy and that was due to overwatering quite clearly
So I'd say pretty good! So many lovely plants to choose from though. The calatheas were stunning. But I knew I wanted to be able to afford more than one, so alas, I picked these lovelies
I went plant shopping!
One peace lily
And a monstera deliciosa
Can anyone direct me as to what this one is? I know it could be dracaena from the look of it, but what type specifically? I'd like to know care requirements.
Unfortunately they were all labelled as "house plant" which was...
Can you post images of the eggs being candled? It's odd to me that they've been incubating 28 days and they were already well into incubation when you put them in there. If I remember correctly?
I met my guinea pigs yesterday:love
Long distance pets ATM.
It was an expensive rescue situation, the black piggy, Ebony, had huge huge cysts on her ovaries. The owner believed she was miraculously pregnant.
Poor girl had been dealing with this for months.
All good now though, ovaries gone...
1.33 am and finnnalllly done travelling...
Goodness it's just hit me how stressful and brave this was to do.
I have so much anxiety to get through tomorrow...
But am here. Way north. 250 miles away from my Dougie and Sprightly...
I bought two plush puffins on the way, and they're now named...
The big Ben was big!
And loud!
Buckingham Palace was a little underwhelming, but there was a sainsburys nearby and we got delicious things for lunch.
Most of the day was at the museum though. My vegan partner and I spent most of it looking at taxidermy and animals preserved in jars 😭😂
It was...
My Sprightly used to do this! I'd wake up to the flapping of wings and then feel a thud as she drops on me.
I'd ask for five more minutes but she would just start nibbling on my ears until I got up. Usually Dougie would join her at that point.
As difficult as it was to co-live with them...
I hope something can be done. There's always the chance it can live, regardless of whether it can be fixed.
It's just dependant on quality of life- a special set up, or special tools like a wheelchair could help.
It could even be made out of recycled parts, I'm sure. It wouldn't be easy, but...
Also, anyone recall the struggling plants I bought? Im pretty sure its been two weeks or less, and after much TLC I thought I'd show "Spongebob" and "Squidward" then vs now.

And now:
I am in love with my Dieffenbachia Camillas ❤️
I got a new plant :D
I've been *longing* for a calathea, top of my list. And today I saw a calathea ornata and had to have her! Named her Breeze because it was definitely the vibe I got from her. I know these aren't the easiest, but I'm doing so good with my plants and I have researched before...
Well, probably leaving tomorrow. Going up north for a few days.
I wanted to spend some time with my girls before I go, after cleaning the pond, shed and pen... could anything be better than getting in the pond with them?
They loved it. Total pool party. Did the games we used to play where they...
