Family is visiting. Already ready for them to start going home. They hadn't even been here 48 hours before they were talking about queer school politics
Realizing I had to consciously breathe. It was no longer just an automatic thing. I was looking at the front doorknob of our house and I suddenly needed to breathe in because I needed air

Your vet is an exception then. Most vets either won't at all or will make an appointment and charge when they don't know much about poultry or even birds in general
I used to have a Japanese hen that adopted any chicks/teens she found. Only ever successfully brooded once, but she didn't need to be broody to adopt birds
It depends on the disability. If it's something that will destroy their quality of life, I put them down. If it's something they can't seem to learn to cope with, I put them down. If they learn to cope with it and they act like they did before, then I generally will let them stick around.
I really wouldn't. There's a larger chance with each day that she quits being broody, which could ruin the clutch. I'd put her in a broody breaker cage and just break the hormones at this point
I don't think so. That was my first guess, but it was only the one duckling out of over a dozen, and she's mostly feathered. It also was decently warm water and airwise in their pen.
