Awww! I have two black frizzle babies that are around the same age as Popcorn here! Like Overo Mare said; hard to tell gender, you'll be more sure in a few weeks but he/she is adorable and I love the little white tips on their wings!
It's dependent but cochins are known as a broody breed so they'll most likely be broody often; mine while not the broodiest of the flock was defintally frequently broody. That was a lot of broody:rolleyes:
I compete under English in eventing, dressage, and some hunter jumper and flat but hunters are not my favorite. I also show in a variety of western classes occasionally, my favorite being trail. I don't show in any breed-specific futurities or world shows but I know what you mean it can easily...
That's awesome that you had a great judge! It's really unfortunate when you have a bad one; I've had a couple of those.:hmm
My 4-H showing time was definitely not the best plus I seemed to have a curse of bad luck. I'm still showing but getting into the rated stuff.

@Whitepines I too would say self blue. If the new chicks were of the same breeding variety wise I'm not too certain however if they have a slightly different mix of variety maybe as chicks they look different but will mature to look the same?
Certainly; I'll play around with those settings and see what I can come up with, thanks! I use the 28-200mm lens most often as I find it to be a good middle ground unless I'm taking pictures of chicks or want closer portrait like pictures then I'll use the 18-55mm but usually end up back at the...
Our Snowy EE, currently unnamed at the moment, falls asleep as soon as you pick her up :love . They're all a little skittidish about being picked up but they're fine if I just pet them. Don't seem all too intrested in food as an incentive:idunno. Other than that they're all happy and healthy it...
We have similar cameras except mine's a T3. What settings have you found work well? I've been playing around with those for a while trying to find what works best, I've found sometimes if I use motion capture I don't get the best quality at times.:idunno
