Ok so. Day 7 candling of 36 eggs 13 NJ/EE x. Doing good 7 NJ/EE x. Maybe 4 NJ/EE x clears 7 wyandotte bantams good 5 wyandotte bananas maybe

Well. I guess it does stabilize but it's not the range I want. I either get 99.5 to 100.6 or 98.6ish to 99.4. Are either of these ranges ok? I might be over thinking it. I would like 99 to 99.5 but just can't seem to get it with the wafer thermostat .

Not sure how successful this hatch is going to be. I got 12 Wyandotte bantam eggs from the people I buy feed from and then I set 24 Easter Egger eggs from my flock. And I have 1 NJ rooster over 39 hens. So I know not all of them will be fertile. I couldn't wait so I candles them last night...

Yes, I was wanting to test it but I like the success I've had. So I'm running it between 99.1 and 99.5 . The low end is what I'm getting just before it turns on to warm up and it shuts off at 99.5. Previously I ran it a little high for being circulated air according to the hatching info here on...

And thank you. I turned it up a little. The initial setting even after setting it up prior seems to be fiddly with the manual. I use a turner in it.

I am wrong. I have a Hovabator 1602n. I think at the time I ordered from Amazon I thought I was buying a genesis. Getting older stinks.
