Are you tired of changing your chicken's fouled water dishes? Like a lot of folks these days, we enjoy keeping chickens! We started out with a few laying birds in a single pen, but as our "flock" increased, we discovered that we were spending a significant amount of time and effort keeping the...
Hi Everyone,
This may be a silly question but I'm new to Polish...lol. Can you run Gold and Silver Laced together and if so, what would the offspring be? Same with Buff Laced with gold and silver laced?? I'd like all 3 but don't have 3 extra pens! Thanks for educating me!! :)
We were too! We have several automatic watering systems available that we are currently using for our multiple pens. I can't tell you how much time, energy and money I am saving not having to buy cheap watering options that leak and get fouled easily! Not to mention all the litter my chicks were...
I am looking for a Show Quality Silver Laced Wyandotte Rooster. I have 2 SQ hens and they are in need of a man! If you have one available, please let me know and send pics! Thanks!
Hi,
I have the opportunity to purchase a pair of Buff Laced Brahma for $200.00. First of all I'm clueless if this is a fair price? Secondly, I have researched the breed and I've attached a pic of the 8 mo. old pullet for your perusal (sorry, it's not the greatest but all that I have to go on)...
I just bought a used cabinet incubator and it is FILTHY! Any ideas on what chemicals I can use to safely remove all the gunk?? Any other tips I need to know on cleaning? Thanks!
I have the opportunity to purchase 2 GQF 1250's for $150.00. I just looked it up and I believe that model is a hatcher?? I'm wondering if I could convert tone to an incubator by putting in automatic turners? I'm new to the cabinet style. When I go to look at them this afternoon is there anything...
I have one little chick that literally "lept" out of his shell. He is the first chick but he is now scattering the eggs, rolling them around onto the site where the others have pipped (turning pip down towards the bottom of the incubator). What should I do?? Thanks!
This may seem obvious but worth an ask. Can a full size cochin sit on 12 serama eggs and not break/damage them? She is incredibly broody and looking for a purpose! LOL! I'm not sure I want to brave the incubator with all the $ I just spent on eggs. Any suggestions or testimonials? Thanks!
