We have kept hens for over 7 years. Usually we rehome the old hens after two years, and get a new flock from our local feed store.
We have 8 new babies and two old hens who are still laying about every other day.
We are planning on introducing the new girls to the old gals in 6 weeks or so.

I need to treat my 6 hens for lice/mites very soon.... DO i clean the coop first, then treat the birds? And, If I compost the coop bedding... am i spreading the mites/lice to my property? Can I burn it? Or treat it with Sevin/Adams then discard? Thanks in advance for the helpful replies!

lol! The title sounds like an invite to something naughty! But no, it is just six baby chicks... we are mesmerized by them! So now we can watch them constantly! Even from the other room!
