    Today 2 of my Lavender Ameracauna pullets laid 2 soft shelled eggs. Are these lash eggs or hens needing more oyster shell? I touched one with my boot and it popped. I did not touch either egg with my hands.

    I have looked at cages from Wylona Ranch and Hatching Time cages. I know that neither is rat-proofproof due to the egg rollout. What if I put the cages in a shed?
