Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

Hmmm ya sounds like it had some issues going on. I had 2 bantams that I think were positioned right that never internally pipped. Both had veins and yolk sacs absorbed. They just never pipped or attempted to hatch. Sometimes it just happens.

Humidity and temp question, Nurture Right 360

I did that with my last duck egg, but I just popped the air cell top off, a superficial vein was bleeding but I got it stopped. The membrane was in tact. Lots of work keeping it from drying out but it pipped through the membrane then eventually hatched on its own. Lived for 36-42 hrs and died...

BLACK COCHIN x EASTER EGGER.. Will I get blue eggs?

I have 3 EE/Cochin mix pullets that I kept from last year. My hen that they came from lays beautiful teal eggs. All 3 of the pullets lay a tealish/olive color!!!! Only 1 got its mamas cheeks. I just love cheeks!!!

Any eggs left to hatch? They will be fine. It is amazing how fast they get their little feet working.

They are fine at whatever temp it is. No need to change the temp. I normally take them out around 24 hrs. But others leave them for the 72

All advice for raising ducklings please

I normally do it sooner but with the others so big I wanted him more steady on his feet. Then when I went to put him in there was no heat on the MHP and felt he needed it for sure. So got that set but wanted to be sure it stayed warm so was giving it till this am. 😭

All advice for raising ducklings please

Ugh... 😭. Woke up to little miracle dead. Was going to put him in the brooder early last night but noticed my MHP (brand new heating pad) wasn't working. Took the cord from the coop brooder and got it working but figured I would wait till this morning so maybe he was a bit more steady to keep...
