update
i covered the coop to try and get it darker but it made it worse instead of 5:30 am screaming started at around 4:45 persistently the past couple days. i let them out to shut the FRICK UP! and let them ruin everything and 💩 everywhere in the backyard and go back to sleep for 2 hours. i...
thanks you!
ya i think thats my only option, to just ignore them unfortunately and hope it slowly passes. The worst part is i know my neighbors hear it in the morning. my bedroom is located towards the front/middle of the house, my chickens are in the backyard maybe 100-125 feet away and even...
thank you!
no clue its a mix of alerting for danger/ and just straight screaming. I think they really love to be let out and eat all the leaves that fall from the trees during the night that they see from outside the coop🤷♂️🤷♂️ no clue but just my guess, But either way its ridiculous the...
i also know its probably easy to think im being overdramtic or making a big deal about it.
TRUST ME NO! 2 hours straight of non-stop screaming and crowing
hi guys! my chickens are all about 11months-1 year old and starting just recently at around 6:00 am they start going absolutely ballistic. Not just crow here and there just constant loud crows/screams. The thing i dont understand is that they never did this before! they all have been laying for...
they are both about 20-22 weeks old have no clue of the breed of the black one.
Also when should i expecting eggs from these two? when i go to put my hand over them they dont squat like others.
thanks.
saw this online, if the chicken in that photo is an olive egger mine has to be one also. They have identical brownish patterns on their feathers and exact same body types.
okay 👍, i normally go from behind them to pick them up and if they squat and have happy feet i normally take that as there soon to lay. haven’t noticed that from her yet so she probably will start when spring comes around
they have more then enough room… there coop and run is 12.5 feet by 5 feet in total. Like i previously mentioned in my first comment i said “i let them free range around my backyard for around 4-5 hours” guess you missed that. Ive been taking care of chickens for over 12.5 years i moved from...
should i be worried? or contact the seller on possibility getting them switched out? or should they eventually begin laying again. The guy i got them from told me they lay an egg per day. The one out of the 4 that is laying has been laying one every day for around 3 weeks
