6 months old. I have 4 the same age. None of the others have this. No freezing temps. If it matters she is the runt of the 4 and stays to herself when out free ranging. Acts normal and has been laying.
Thoughts?
My 4 Barred Rocks are 18 weeks old. I have a TSC coop with an additional 10x15 run coming off the little front door.
Up until last week I only let them run around in the bigger run in the afternoons when I came home for a few hours and sometimes free range around the back of the property while...
Yeah as cheap as copper is even my 175 run may be in the works before winter.. Live in NC so we do get freezing temps.. But solar is just so cool and nerdy lol
Sighhhh. I guess I should have done more research.. Dead battery this morning and door only opened about 2 inches.
I have a 10 watt solar panel that according to the specs puts out .6 amps in optimal conditions. I have it going through a battery tender.
Hooked up to the battery is the 12"...
Took a few days of putting them in their coop after they settled down.
Excited to see last night they went in for the first time before the auto door closed!
Sorry for blowing up with all the messages but I figured it out. I had the reverse polarity timer set the second time instead of the power timer I was working well.
I had missed one ground wire. After hooking it up and setting the timer the timers work correct..
If I put my meter on the actuator output on the relay.. The 1st timer kicks on I get -10v. It goes through the cycle and voltage goes away when both shut off..
But when the reverse polarity timer...
This is the diagram i used for the single timer and it worked great. It was just pulling my battery down staying on all day even with 10 watt solar (reason for going to 2 timers)
I tried this option as I had a spare timer and pretty sure I have it wired correct but nothing. 😕
Neither timer will turn on..
The 3 options you have listed, do all 3 of those times have to be set?
