I read somewhere that if marans Exposure to sunlight or there eggs were undersunlight or anylight will lighter the shell eggs color..
is that true?? and is there any tips could i do to make shell darker

i have rooster and hens both white.. i got em as white J. Giant breed.
i got from them those chicks color .. ( white, light gray and one is white with big black dot in back and head.
any idea???
what about if i cross white G. Jersey rooster to jubilee orpington.. as color you explain it very well...
however any idea how the chicks will look??? would there body be as jersey or orp.

if i cross them what color i might get...
its rarely to find Orpington where i live so trying to buy that white
i start having chicken a year ago with no experience, so i did some research and found out Orpington laying around 5 - 6 months.. for that i was wondering if im doing something wrong like feed, or 2x rooster with one hens or as you said Bloodlines which is just knew it...

I have J. Orpington 2xrooster and 1 hen, both at age 9months. they have excellent health and they free range...
Hen she look matured .. but she did not lay any yet
Rooster i do not think he is Matured yet.. he did not crowing yet not even tried it.. as other breed i noticed rooster...
I have 7 hens 4 of them laying dark brown eggs rest laying light eggs, they are sisters
they came from 3 hens, all mothers were laying dark eggs.. so i think the father rooster have mix gen
