Hello, i am wanting to raise a hampshire sheep for my county fair. I was generally wanting to know what the diet they should have, and how much space is recommended for them. Also how old they should be ( or the prime age under 8 months) And if anyone else has any helpful tips or good...

remember to also keep the chicken safe and separated from everyone else because the other chickens will try pecking and making it worse.

It does not necessarily sound like it, but i would check for her being egg bound ( my chicken had weird symptoms when egg bound) But no matter what it is, i would keep her on probiotics and try giving her egg yolk through a syringe.

I wasn't talking about removing the bird in general, just the feather ( if thats what you were saying)

In my experience, i watch them, and see if it affects there daily ways (i guess i would call it) normally that things fixes itself with time, but if not i would look into removing it.

from what it sounds like its just what that age does. They should stop soon. But no need to worry.
