    The Coop Light "Trick" WORKS!

My pullets are out for their 2nd night. They see me coming then chirp I think expecting to come back in the house. We were just talking at dinner about maybe adding one of those cheap battery operated under-cabinet push lights to help, both nights I’ve lifted them all in. (We have an Omlet Cube...

    New run!

I wish I had a neighbor that would give me a free tarp! I’m glad to see yours are holding up okay, that’s my main concern about my run- our weather is harsh and I don’t want to replace a tarp all the time! I figured we’d work out the problems on the cheaper summer cover before we get the better...

    Breed?

She is pretty small I haven’t seen her much since she got here, she’s just been hunkered down in the coop- maybe 4 lbs tops.

    Breed?

She was caught in our grocery store parking lot tonight- there was a cream colored egg. She’s quarantined in our little coop right now. Thoughts on type?

    Roo Right?

Thank you! I’m hoping it’s a pullet- I picked from the pullet bin but knew there’s still room for error without the color sexing. 😕

    Roo Right?

A little over 4 weeks old- have had suspicions- most confident/friendly chick, biggest, fullest tail, now this. A Smokey pearl from TSC. Terrible shot, was actually a video to show my husband, no sound yet but looks like it’s trying to crow whenever it wakes up!
